: I AM
on Thursday, January 19 @ 16:12:30 UTC
Anonymous writes:: " The rain pours yet I am dry
With no remorse, no concept
But still I am
I continue to look yet not see
And my mind shifts and sways in the balance
But still I am
Incomplete yet perfect
I no longer reflect, no longer feel
But still I am
I am cyanotic yet breathe adequately
I fade and become ethereal
Yet still I am

I have memories of what this poem is about. I used to have these rants in my brain where I repeated, as if repeating it could some how force me to get bored and change the subject, "i have evaporated"....
.
Since I've suceded in distancing that piece of myself from my self I didnt feel much, just sympathy for you......perhaps, then, it may need more of your ideas and emotions......its just lacking something, i think.
.
I didnt know the meaning of the word cyanotic, so curiousity lead me to the dictionary and it means a discoloration of the skin (like greenish blue) from bad distribution of oxygen. so, I guess that's what you mean when saying "I am cyanotic, yet breathe adaquately"......only because of its medical dictionary meaning, I am hard pressed to say that makes a whole lot of sense.....perhaps just come out and say that you feel as if you cant breathe yet you are? I just think that word is a little too weird to get and to fit in this instance. You dont, of course, have to change it just because of my opinion.

hope this helps a bit,
Nicole
