: waiting with a broken clock
on Friday, February 10 @ 13:29:41 UTC
mattcharnock writes:: " So, lets see,
I don't know where you came from
Don't care what you've been
But this despiration is driving me
Seen other sides of storm clouds
smelt other sides of the sea
But as I turn
Watch you walk away again
Despiration drives me

Listen closly my words are failing now
listen as I talk I've not much left now
But still more than I started with
Despiration takes over me
You wound me
As I warmed you up
You told me
"Now don't you ever let go"
But I couldn't hold you
Any longer
Couldn't wait to set you free.
So here we are on the other side
Of somwhere else
Waiting like the broken clock
Here we are with a bag of memories
Waiting to be set off
There's nothing left - all time is trained
As despiration drives me
Could it be that you've one last minute
could it be you switched me off?
Despirations driving me. "

Johnny Cash huh? Well, your subconscious mind is doing some pretty impressive work. Or, Johnny is working on a new song in the after life.

Ok I don't wite the meaning behind what i write or the reson I wrote. But I will make an exception in this case - because it's funny! Basically Johnny cash visited me in a dream and sang me this song! In all honesty this sounded a lot better when Johnny was singing it - but i thought you all might laugh!
