But, if he makes a mistake and hurts the princess, my shoulder will be there for her.
And if by chance she were hurt sorely, my sword would be there to vanquish the fiend.
My love for you has not waned, and never will my love, enjoy your happiness.

Anyway, very beautiful sentiment and I like the fact that you will be there for her, should she need you.
There is nothing more heart wrenching than love lost.

Its hard knowing that person you love and care so much about is with somebody else. though as your poem brings out hopefully she will be happy and in time you will learn to live and be happy knowing that she is and i think its something special if your willing to be there always when things dont go well. hope your doing well. nice to read another very good poem of yours.
