: Sphinx Swings the Lipstick
on Friday, April 28 @ 04:19:53 UTC
mephistor writes:: " Yet an other day spend alone
In which I have to travel again
Across boarders in trains
Crowded with stranger’s eyes
To meet a friend I have no desire
Meeting while speaking of things
Companies of man speak about

I do not know why I am so hollow
Perhaps I do -but will not admit
That I am lonely for a reason
And I am to be feared and envied
Because the satisfactions I create myself
With a hunger that is all encompassing

Young woman think me as arrogant or stupid
They look at me and shy away at my glances
I hear them laugh or speak of the creature
They see pass a corridor or some pathway

I used to hate them but no longer I do -for
Understanding it takes to sense their sorrow
The needs that are more dominant then mine
For I am a free man while they just try to be
Free from man like me owning
The knowledge I contain being alive still

But I do seem to like mothers -for
Mothers who know the pains called life
Mothers who made a sacrifice
Who are different but no option
In bringing me companionship

Mothers already have love fulfilled
So different from the spoiled rotten
Woman who regard me an instrument
The means to the end of a happiness
"

what is your reason for the topic?
I'd like to know why all thought you queer or you think that they do so.
Forget poetic license and confide in a fellow poet.
