: A Shade of Sorrow
|
on Sunday, April 30 @ 15:23:12 UTC
Celina-Marie writes:: " Everyone that left,
I saw it as another betrayal, while I waited between the shadows and light.
I have seen every bit of them fall to pieces and fail to heal.
That lingering comforting smell,oh how I have craved it while I lay in the awful silence of being alone.Yet far away I heard the waves crashing upon the midnight sand.
But I was alone.
I have taken a blow with every change that came.
And I don't take them easily.Every one crushes me,no matter the size.
I am broken easily. To break and mend is to live but it is no comfort now.
I am terrified of myself and what I am capable of.
I wonder how they can be so cruel when I am what they made.
Every inch of my skin is crawling for them to notice that I am screaming for help.
For the first time today I can breathe. I inhale the cool freshness of night and I realise that I am alive.
Those hate filled angry words cut me like a knife,If only she knew how much I really loved her.
I will not survive the lonliness when she is gone.
Someone please pull me out of this skin.It holds no comfort now, but I am stuck and I begin to panic. "

Re: A Shade of Sorrow (Score: 1) by Mephistor on Monday, May 01 @ 12:21:36 UTC (User Info | Send a Message) | | You speak very vividly Celina Marie. The first part of your poem in particular is composed with words by which I can invision a clear image. They are words of a survivor, somebody who observers I think, who has reference and who can take quite a load. So please don't panic but take a breath again, and then an other one, again and again. Love your own life my dear friend. |
