for if so
why did noah build the arch?
because of gay people?
why did God kick out adam and eve?
because they were gay?
why did satan get thrown out of heaven?
well just blame it on the fact that he was gay
people will understand perfectly then
they say gayness, bi-sexuality, and being a lesbian is a sickness of the mind
but what sickens my heart
is that they truely believe
that it is the worst illness a person could have
that it is better for a child to live a terrible life in a heterosexual family
than to lead a loving, supportive, and protective life in that family of a homosexuals family
of course God wanted children to be raised by both a man and woman only
but he also wanted men to take care of their women
for them not to hurt their women mentally or physically
for their to be peace and tranquility in this world
for our children not to die of hunger and disease
but of all things that tend to worry people
is my love life
what makes me happy
why it is wrong
and why i can't be happy
and why i should lead a misreable, unstable, heterosexual partnership
instead of following my heart and doing as i please
i know where i stand in the society
my love life is my own
i am no type of sub-human
it was already an ardouos task in finding out who i really was
now i have to get people to except me?
that is to much to to do in a world like todays
so i will continue to be who i am in this world today
where you could be anything you want
you just better not be gay
"

Try not to care so much what people think because even if you try hard to convince people that their opinions or beliefs are absurd, you will lose. People sometimes have their mind set on being prejudice or racist because of society and not because of a religion. I am sure GOD would have loved you no matter what. Jesus just did not live in times where something like sexuality preferance existed and I AM SORRY TO SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM CATHOLIC, BUT THE BIBLE WAS NOT WRITTEN BY GOD OR JESUS, SO WHY SHOULD I TRUST IT. IF GOD IS GOD AND REAL, HE SHOULD BE A FORGIVING AND LOVING AND OPEN MINDED AND CAPABLE OF KNOWING WHAT IS WRONG AND WHAT IS RIGHT AND IF A PERSON HAS A GOOD OR BAD HEART. I AM AN ARAB-CATHOLIC, BUT I AM STEREOTYPED AND HARRASSED AT THE CANADIAN BORDER, IN AIRPORTS FOR BEING ARABIC, BUT I DO NOT CARE BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL TAKE CENTURIES BEFORE PEOPLE REALIZE WE ARE ALL HUMANS WHO NEED EACH OTHER. I AM CURRENTLY CHOOSING MY OWN PATH AND I DECIDED TO STEP OUT OF MY ARABIC CULTURE AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING MANY THINGS ABOUT ME, BUT I DO NOT CARE. I ENJOYEDYOUR POEM, BUT TRY NOT TO BE SO STRAIGHT FORWARD ABOUT THE TOPIC, USE MORE POETRY TOOLS LIKE SIMILES, METAPHORS, PERSONIFICATION, IRONY, DISSONANCE, AND SO FORTH...
