I dream of love and all it's romance,
Painted by moonlight we talk and we dance,
Portraying emotions conveyed in our eyes,
We gaze at each other as the night comes alive,
She sways in her beauty I reach out my arms,
We talk and we dance by the light of the stars.
She laughs and her laughter speaks volumes to me,
Though people surround us, it's just her that I see,
In that pure moment my world spins around,
She shines in her beauty, in my life she resounds,
I whisper her name in my heart and I smile,
So I stand just to savour her light for awhile,
I know I'm lucky to have her in my years,
She has eased my heartache and taken my fears,
She has mended my spirit with a new lease of life,
And has taken my darkness and turned it to light,
I thank god for this night as we dance face to face,
As we move to the rhythm of hearts soothing pace,
As she sways in her beauty, we talk and we dance,
As I dream of love and all it's romance "
