: When I Need You Most
|
on Friday, June 30 @ 10:21:37 UTC
jazzy writes:: " When I need you most, you are never there.
Those are the times I that I wonder if you really even care.
Even if you knew that I cry myself to sleep each night,
Would you come to hold me and tell me that everything will be alright?
If every remaining piece of my strength was suddenly gone,
Would you be there to offer me a shoulder to cry on?
When I need you most, you are never here.
Even if you were, would you wipe away every last tear?
You are never here when I fall apart.
Come to think of it, you have not been here from the start.
Do you even care that you are breaking my heart?
Being there when I need you the most, how hard can that be?
If you cannot even do that much, the least you could do is set me free. "

I can really relate to this too. It is true. If a person is not there for you why can't they set you free. Relationships can be so difficult. You wrote this with great use of imagery and expression. Take care. |
