As tears flow down my face, I softly touch your hair
The smell of your sweet perfume, filling up the air
I feel your body close to mine, yet, you seem so far away
It’s tearing me up inside, I’m begging you, please baby stay
I lay here in the dark, with tear drops in my eyes
Cherishing every lasting moment, before our true love dies
I pull your body close to mine, and hold on, as tight as I can
I pray to god your love never dies; it would be more than I could stand
I slowly sit up in bed, and watch you as you sleep
While the love that once filled my heart, now causes it to weep
I slip down to my knees and pray to God you’ll always stay
“Just give me one more moment; just give me one more day”
