: CHIEF DIED!
on Monday, April 07 @ 12:21:51 UTC
logos writes:: " Food4tot based on a true life story: an eyewitness account.

Breath was high days before today

Stomach protruded dauntless in fraud

Striving to still turbulent storms of liquors

O’er floating his enormous professional coat

And chief was nay no small thief

‘Tho hidden in his legal and force guises

Whereof he interprets and executes the law

To the tunes of the highest bidder

Thus, by his spoils, he betook his ‘chiefry’

Plundering fortresses of friends and foes alike

Upon a chameleonic innocence and treachery

In a kingdom of wholesome whores and wines

Alas, the eve of the morn of his chronic cough!

He rode a daughter of discord all nightlong

But at the deserted darkish dawn

Eyes bulged in a lamed slumping frame

The elders beheld the embers and disappeared

I stood in conscience by flesh of my teeth

Heart failing at his mournful frightening grief

As I stroke his flesh with fresh olive oil

“Call me Jesus, ‘tho I know he wouldn’t come,

For I called him not while I lived

See, they pull and pull me o’er that wall

And wouldn’t let me breathe a deep breath”

Estranged, I looked and swallowed lumps of nothing

Fears held me tight at, “While I lived….”

As we stared dreadfully at the wall of ‘death’

What deep breath, and who are they that held it?

I pondered, as I prayed for the divine providence

With large eyes white and blank, he lent his tongue

On the crucifix I fixed at his request before him

Thus far gave up his soul to rather unknown wall

"
