: Tip the sun into the night part 2
on Tuesday, August 03 @ 20:50:38 UTC
dreameyes writes:: " She waited outside for her father. It was a warm summer day, so Maharet washed her feet in the cool stream by the garden of her home. She would have to be wed soon, she was 17 and of age. She hated it though, the thought of being locked into role play, freedom stripped from her arms and thrown into the dephs of a bottomless pit of nothingness. The rage she felt of marrying a man she hardly knew, only met once and the meeting was brief. No real eye contact, or that so called fatal attraction, to her he was just there. Sitting back straight on the soft blue floor mat, legs crossed over one another, hands laying on his lap. His skin was extremely pale, his hair was a deep caramel color which was sort of appealing. His eyes were a bright and lively green, although the way he looked was quite the contrary, more like lifeless. He made no sudden moves, he made every move with precise care as if he feared making any type of mistake what so ever.....

His name was Tenchie, and he was from a land unknown to me called Tyrome. He had come to Inya in oder to follow through with the wedding plans. Tenchies' father Manet, was a silk salesman and had asked her father, Lao abotu the arrangement of our marriage. He first came to her with the news and I quickly obliged.
"Father I don't understand. Why? I don't love him you know who I love!" she had screamed, pacing around the living room.
"You know the rule of law in this country, you must marry at 17 our else be banished from the country for the rest of your life." her father said in a stern voice.
"I don't care i'll live with John and we'll start a family I love him." she said now drowning her face in tears.
"You are never to see John again and I'll make sure of it!" And with that he stormed out the house.
Maharet cried for she knew she would never see John again, her father was a man of his word and if she wasn't to see John then that is how it would be. And she never did see him again. Maharet had first met John when she was 15, she was picking roses from the side of the road after shopping at the market. John was tall 6"8 to be exact, he had chocolate brown skin, short black hair and hazel eyes that glistened in the sun. He had such a soft and warm smile, we greeted each other, amnd with that we started an affair. Every night we would sneak away from our homes and go to a near by beach shore and lye on the soft sand and talk for ours. I cherished those moments we spent together and I'll never forget, then one night.... something terrible happened.
To be continued "

Part 2 is good....but I think the continuity from Part One was lost somewhere.... maybe I missed something? I didn't feel that the wording was as strong in this one as in the last one, but nevertheless it's good, and keep up the good work.
