: Memories...
|
on Tuesday, September 07 @ 00:13:21 UTC
angelkisss143 writes:: " The wonderful, fresh clean smell of
Autumn fills her lungs and touches her
Cheeks with its chilly fingers as she steps
Outside into the sunshine.
A slight breeze lifts her beautiful, long auburn hair
Strand by strand, and her golden-green
Eyes twinkle in the sunlight as she
Scans her surroundings.
The leaves that have turned from green to
Orange and some from orange to brown have
Fallen off the trees and littered the
Ground, like confetti at a party.
Her eyes wonder aimlessly to where the
Weeping Willow is, with its branches
Reaching down to the Earth, the way a
Child reaches for its mother.
She remembers the warm summer nights she
And her love hid under its sheltering
Branches, escaping from the world,
Escaping form reality.
She remembers his arms circled around
Her body and the strength making her feel
Complete, the feel of his kiss upon her lips and neck
And she remembers the words he whispered in her ear… "

What direction does a child reach for it's mother? Down or up? You might want to switch child and mother around... |
