: Someone Please Call 9/11
on Saturday, September 11 @ 14:34:26 UTC
darkdream writes:: " I woke up today
Feeling on top of the world
Then I fell on my knees
Because I felt like the world was on top of me
Every breath is a fight to take
I breathe in the same suffering everyday
Even after this people still don't change
Even after the World Trade
I still feel that same hate
Coming from my enemys
Someone please call 9/11
Tell them I have been shot down
And my blood is running out
I feel the pain of all that had been lost
I see their faces in the dark
Telling me to hold on
Things won't be like this for long

I woke up the next day
I look at the place
Where the bullet went through
I didn't know what to do
I screamed for my dead mother
I know she wouldn't come
But I screamed anyway
To have a life and death exchange
I don't want to be here no more
This place is Hell to me
Show me that golden door
I need to be free
I cut on the tv
Looking for relief
But instead
I saw rememberance of people like me
Who on this day screamed
Someone please call 9/11
Tell the the buildings got struck down
And made an explosion in my heart
The lives taken are ripping through my soul
I feel my body getting cold
So scared
But still bold

Very Strong emotion, and I like the imagery... It’s different, and beautiful…
Never stop writing…

first of all, it's insulting to read someone's 'creativity' only to find that part of their poetry is taken from the lryics of a song - and then not give the song it's due credit. I mean, where you lisening to the song '911' when you wrote this??
