But turn a deaf ear to their cry.
Whay about the soldier who's lost an arm or leg,
What about the mother who's now forced to beg
What about the young child now taking the wrong
path,
Why do we just snear and laugh?
And what about the father who's job went
overseas,
Or the CEO who wallows in his greed
Whay about the young girl cancer wil take away,
Do you really know what brings a grown man to
his knees?
It's time we stooped looking within and started to
look out,
It's time we recognized sin,
And time we cast away doubt.
This world will never change,
Unless we make a start
And it can only happen when we reach into our
heart.
The next time you see a homeless man,
Stop and think of where you are
Take a god look at your house and that expensive
car,
He was once you and he didn't have to fall far.
Realize the food you eat could bring a smile to a
hungry face,
Understand the bed where you sleep..to someone
is a very welcome place,
Consider all the things you have and all that they
have lost...
Remember all that Jesus gave for your own cost.
