: Drug Addiction.
on Sunday, March 20 @ 19:57:54 UTC
BrianKeith writes:: " A young boy lost and rejected.
Even from his own home.
Everyday wishen he had a friend.
Now he's found walken these darken streets.
Just looking for a friend.

For he found a friend amongst his darken journey.
His new friend plays only with a price.
Eagerly he wants to play.
Rolling back his sleeve.
Driven the rig into the bodies busy highways.
Never shall he feel the same agian.

Today shall be different.
Today his new and only friend will betray him.
Agian ramming the needle into the eager veins.
This time the rush doesn't seem the same.
He falls to the floor without even a word.
Slowly he falls into his final escape.

Drugs blinded the love from others.
But to be cool he rolled the dice.
For they say some come through.
But he payed the traggic price.
Please show your love and respect.
Support those that are tangled in these streets.
Before another families left with sarrow.
Because their family member payed the price. "

Blinded by the light- taking things headlong from now on. Since the time is short and the art is long.
I have smoke- on a sunny afternoon at night- to escape who I am and prosper in scope- that is my hope for life and what it might bring me under this influence. I am an addict myself you see- Marrihuana I smoke the kilo a year. My joints are like spears piercing my heart- the heart I broke myself before I started using the stuff. Yet I know what you mean- I lost a friend to heroin as well- and all my other friends as a consequence. For I was not supprised by his death- and I took the blame in the form of indifference- I did not make a tragedy out of it- life goes on without waiting -does it not? I should know as the out of time man. Because I didn't do Heroin like he did- I only smoke grass and was hence not really his friend- I did not "understand". Yet I am heartless never the same- careless in a way- things are without context for me- you know what I mean? Yet I am fascinated by life- restless by nature in the chaos my mind imposes on the self- curious and gready I am like a young child. I would like to help and understand the mean however- that and who I am not- since I am not a person after all- I am a junky you know- a ghost like Mephistopheles- I sold my soul for knowledge to help others.
However I wish you luck in what you want to do in life- as long as it is healthy -fair- and has a touch of flair. Because I really think your poem is a good piece- good writting: "Driven the rig into the bodies busy highways" That is just wonderfull. The insight that drugs kills the love inside- is the hellish truth unfortunatelly- you are right- their ain't no love in the eyes of people who do drugs- only blood pumps through their vains. Yet you should check out my poem: Beat to be a better bender. It has the same subject matter. So cheers budy!

Thank you both for comments. I wanted to be striaght forword to the blind selfless minds that think the world is a easy life. I never was an addict but I have friends that are. I wrote this poem to hopefuly help them but they dont listen. I look for the day that they get off the drugs. I know its easy to say I can and will stop but I also know how hard it is to lay the needles down and mean the words to quit. Addiction is for a weak mind I believe. I know if you conquer your mind matter is soon to be nothing more then a state of mind. ?So with that I give you all hopes and wishes to conquer your own mind

With Love and respect to you all:
