All the causal goodbyes.
I’ll forgive you-
And if I can’t have conditions,
Call this dear sir-war of attrition,
Full of rape,
Full of lies,
And of causal goodbyes.
This will end, as all things must,
After one rebuilds the trust
When you look through mist and fog,
And the mirror you spy a dog-
For there was rape,
And there were lies,
Your heart won’t find an alibi.
