: All she wanted
on Monday, July 04 @ 03:36:16 UTC
Swe3tSorr0w writes:: " Livve had it all
She gave what she got
She had tons of friends
Who loved her alot
She loved them too, and said "I'll always be there"
But at gorgeous girls, she couldnt help but stare

The "lovely" girls were certainly a sight
With their maybelline masks
And their shirts way too tight
The guys hung around, in a trance
They were always the first ones asked to a dance

They seemed secure, knowing just what to say
They said it at the right time, in THE coolest way
They were always seen with smiles on their faces
And their clothes were tight in all the right places

They were seemingly "cool"
They were definitly the most popular girls in school
So Livve dreamed on, day and night
That her clothes would fit her just as tight
She wondered what she'd have to win
Because she'd give up the world, just to "fit in"

She kept her dreams secret, hoping nobody knew
But her friends found out fast, and realized it was true
They warned her over and over of their ways
But Livve grew more stubborn, each and every day

Sure they were cool, and could put on a show
But they struggled in school and their grades were low
They smoked and were known to drink beer
But this stuff, Livve refused to hear

So Livve tried her hardest to fit in with the clique
She giggled at jokes she knew were just sick
She gave her attention to these cool girls alone
She dressed exactly like them, in a style unlike her own

Livve's old friends feared her drifting away
They knew they were losing her, but didnt know what to say
They told Livve the truth, the group was completely fake
But they're words Livve wouldn't take

"Why arnt they happy for me?" Livve thought
"Sure, i dont act like myself, but look what i've got"
She thought her old friends were jealous and tart
She told herself she was truthfully happy, deep down in her heart

Livve laughed at her old friends, beside her new
They made fun of so many and smiled at few
Livve's new friends were "cool", she was in with the clan
She was treated as they were, she was sure she was happy again

Livve's old friends sadly stayed away
They left her alone, but watched close everyday
They longed for her friendship, the warmth in her smile
And hoped she'd miss them, and come back after awhile

But the jokes kept coming, So the group with a sigh
Turned their backs on harsh Livve, and walked silently by
The pain was quite deep, and the torture extremely hard
Her old friends hearts had been deeply scarred

As all this happened, the cool did their thing
They giggled and gossiped, and made actions sting
They mutated Livve, the best they could
And taught her to be like a glamour girl should

Livve went to parties, she got into fights
She became really cool, but during the night..
She tried to discover what was the scoop
Why she wasnt truly content with her newfound group

Then one day it came to her, into her head
That the answer was one she truly did dread
She had run quickly ahead and around the bends
She had left her true friends

Livve realized her error "This groups not a sight
With their makeup done perfect and hair fixed just right
Thats not what they truely look like, its a lie, what you do see
Is the maybelline models they wish they could be

Then early one night, around seven-o-clock
A girl opened her door at the sound of a knock
Out in the cold, standing in the rain
Was teary eyed Livve, her old self again

Neither one spoke, as she ushered Livve in
The girl knew from expereience where Livve'd been
She had once felt those girls where the best
As not long ago, she had put those thoughts to rest

The girls sat talking for a good length of time
Livve knew in her heart she would be just fine
She couldn't believe how much she'd been blessed
That her true friends would forgive her like this "
