: Where The Needle Touches The Sky
on Sunday, August 28 @ 09:46:26 UTC
Anonymous writes:: " The most painful distance,
Was the first step you took
Away from you and I.
Just like the last time
I couldn't hold you.
The most painful touch.
We're blind,
When love is weeping,
For it's the same point,
Where the needle tries
To reach the sky.

And its such a habbit -
Reaching out
For what we can't have.
Spending my life
Holding onto things
That don't want
To be held onto,
Just like
The needle trying
To touch the sky.

And you asked
Of which was more important,
You or I.
Then walked away,
As if not knowing
There is no me,
Without you.
That was point
Where the needle
Touched the sky.

And it poured down,
But not with rain.
For all I felt was nostalgia,
Wash through me.
