: Because You Loved Me...
|
on Thursday, September 15 @ 15:51:35 UTC
baby_girl writes:: " Not much to say other than the poem is true...
You didn't care if I didn't want to,
You didn't listen when I said no.
And with every tear that fell down my face,
Came another layer of my clothes.
Your proceeded to continue and kissed me,
But seemingly lifeless, I layed there still.
You did everything you could think of -- and then some,
But with no response your anger began to build.
You sat up and you looked at me,
I could see the frustration in your eyes.
You raised your hand and then you struck me,
My cheeked burned and once more tears streamed from my eyes.
For a moment you just stared at me,
As I shook and continued to cry.
You apologized and said you loved me,
Still in shock, all I could do was look into your eyes.
You picked me up and held me in your arms,
Begging me to stay with you and never leave.
Despite how many times it had happened before,
I still listened and heeded your plead... "

Re: Because You Loved Me... (Score: 1) by Ravenloft (devinouis@yahoo.com) on Friday, September 16 @ 12:42:34 UTC (User Info | Send a Message) | | That's a truly heartfelt poem - and you wrote it superbly. I mean, the mistakes are so few and far between that -- why even bother saying you made ANY? Once I started reading it, I really couldn't stop. I sincerely hope that, since you said this poem is true, that it's only a distant memory for you now. If not, then I would plead with you as well - to find someone who would treat you much better. Regardless of how little or how much I know about you, I can see just from this that you're a wellspring of talent, and you deserve someone who would cherish everything about you - not just your body. |
