All the time we spent, the secrets we told, the memories of you holding me like you'd never let go,
This is all nagging at my heart that is so weak,
I'm fragile inside and have been crying to where I can no longer speak.
I maybe hurt but I still care,
I've let go of the anger and all that is left is an empty part of me.
I don't know what to do.
Things got so vicious and awkward,
It's almost like all that time we spent talking as friends was not worth a damn thing.
It's all so complicated and is causing my eyes to well up with tears.
One day I hope we can go back to how things were...
Back to the time before it all deteriorated to the nothingness it is now,
All that is left is the distant memory of how it was.
I don't know what hurts more reflecting on how things were or how much worse things could become.
All this resentment is just from the hurt,
because I'd rather have you in my life then have you locked away in my past.
I cant read your mind, but I'm going to give you your space.
I just hope that somewhere in your heart you still have an empty place for me to crawl into again someday.
Sometimes in life you have to battle the storm to see the rainbow at the end of this tunnel.
If your done trying to salvage what once was I can't be sure if I can give up that easy.
You may not want to fix things or try to see what good things might come,
but I hope at least in the end we can be friends...
It might be a regret in the end for you that you'll carry around,
...a tiny chip on your shoulder if you can't let this hardship go.
After this all, I still want to forgive, move on from this, and become stronger person within.
Even if we can't let each other be anything to one another ever again,
Just know that I'll be here if you ever need a good friend... "

No one ever knows what to do in relationships friends or otherwise but whatever you do dont give up on others just for one person your not a martry or a saint your a person you need friends more friends ok. |
